Rangers Don 1982 Memorial Cup Commemorative Jerseys on Friday
On Friday, January 11, 2013, the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club will pay tribute to its 1982 Memorial Cup Champion team by donning commemorative jerseys in the style worn by the original team.
The unique 1982 Memorial Cup Commemorative Jerseys will be worn in celebration of 80’s Night at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium, as the Rangers welcome former players and staff for a special alumni celebration.
Fans will have an opportunity to own this piece of Kitchener Rangers game-worn memorabilia by attending the team’s final home game of the season on Sunday, March 10, when they will have the chance to win the ‘Shirt Off Our Back’. The jerseys, which will be worn for the second time during the Rangers’ 2:00pm game with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, will be given as prizes during the team’s Fan Appreciation Celebration.
