Rangers Business Operations Staff Changes
The Kitchener Rangers welcome Alyscia Warner to their business operations staff and congratulate Michelle Fortin on her expanded role with the team.
Alyscia will take on the role of Communications Manager with the club, overseeing the creation and maintenance of the Rangers social media presence, creating and distributing all Rangers external communications to the media and the community, writing and posting game recaps for all Rangers 2015-16 exhibition, regular season and playoff games, as well as generating video content for the team website and social media avenues as the new host of Rangers Vision Online. Alyscia will be the key contact for day-to-day media inquiries and game day press, scouting and media affairs.
Alyscia joins the Rangers after spending the last five seasons covering the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors/Steelheads as the Host of their RogersTV broadcasts, anchoring the pre and post game show as well as conducting live intermission player interviews. She also served as the teams Public and Media Relations Coordinator for the 2011-12 season.
Originally from Nova Scotia, she studied Radio and Television Sports Broadcasting at the College of Sports Media in Toronto, Ontario and currently resides in Kitchener.
Michelle, who has been with the team since 2007, will remain serving as the Manager of Brand Marketing for the Rangers. She will continue focusing on the development and enhancement of the Rangers brand through the creation of various marketing initiatives, programs and collateral. With the addition of Alyscia, Michelle will now be taking on an expanded role with the team’s community relations and partnerships programs. She will work with the many charitable and non-profit organizations in Rangers Nation in order to provide assistance from the Rangers to support our community.
Please join us in welcoming Alyscia and Michelle to their new positions with our team.
