Rangers and Wolves Complete Trade
Kitchener Rangers General Manager and Head Coach Steve Spott announced today that the team has completed a trade with the Sudbury Wolves.
In the deal, the Rangers send a conditional 14th round pick in the 2013 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection to Sudbury in exchange for defenseman Ryan Hanes.
Now entering his overage season, Hanes scored 10 points and was a plus-7 in 64 regular season games with the Wolves last year. He also recorded a career-high 78 penalty minutes in 2011-12.
