Hurricanes Select Skinner 7th Overall at 2010 NHL Entry Draft

The NHL held the first round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft tonight in Los Angeles. Rangers centre Jeff Skinner was chosen 7th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes.

Skinner had an outstanding 2009-10 season scoring 50 goals, making him one of only two 50 goal scorers in the OHL this season. He added another 20 goals in 20 playoff games to finish second in playoff goal scoring.
