Hockey Day in Rangers Nation 2012
Hockey Day in Rangers Nation returns for 2012.
The 2nd Annual Hockey Day in Rangers Nation will take place on Sunday, January 15, 2012.
The goal of Hockey Day in Rangers Nation is to engage 10 year old, Major Atom House League hockey players from Waterloo Region and allow them the opportunity to participate in a Rangers “Game Day Experience”.
Each of the 14 house league teams will enjoy a Kitchener Rangers game day experience and have the opportunity to play a full game against a team from outside of their own house league.
When teams arrive they will be greeted by their very own dressing room attendant. Pre-game player introductions are the norm. As well – the centre ice video board will be in full use during each game. Following the game, each player will receive an event gift package and post game meal.
During the Rangers vs. Kingston Frontenacs game that evening teams can relive their day by watching Hockey Day highlights on the centre ice video scoreboard for all fans to see.
There is no cost for teams to participate in the event. Teams will also have the opportunity to purchase group tickets for the Rangers vs. Frontenacs game held at 7:00pm.
Hockey Day in Rangers Nation 2012 is limited to 14 teams that are selected through a lottery process; forms are available in person at the Kitchener Rangers front office, 400 East Avenue, Kitchener, Ontario or CLICK HERE to submit online.
Registrations will be accepted until Thursday, October 27th at 5:00 p.m.
