The Kitchener Rangers in partnership with Four Fathers Brewing has released a new beer to benefit Rangers Reach, the independent non-profit organization which focuses on supporting the community that continues to support the Kitchener Rangers. The beer is the latest collaboration since the release of Rangers Lager in November of 2022.

The Rangers began working with Four Fathers shortly after they received second pouring rights, as the Preferred Non-Premier craft beer with the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex and Kitchener Golf Courses this past October.

The new beer, a Kölsch, is a style that originated in Cologne, Germany. In its most basic form, its a lagered-ale. This means that it is fermented using an ale (top-fermenting yeast) yeast strain and then finished and aged cold like a lager strain. This creates a beer that has characteristics of both an ale (Loud, bold flavours like #RTown on a Friday Night) and a lager (clean and smooth like a fresh sheet of ice). Light, balanced and easy drinking for a fun night at the East Avenue Eisbahn. Tasting Notes: Fruity sweetness, balanced, soft bitterness.
