Rangers Complete Trade with Flint Firebirds
Kitchener, ON – The Kitchener Rangers announced today that the club has completed a trade with the Flint Firebirds ahead of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection.
In the trade, Kitchener receives Flint’s sixth-round pick in the upcoming 2024 OHL Priority Selection. In return, the Rangers trade Mississauga’s fifth round pick in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection to Flint.
The 2024 OHL Priority Selection, presented by Real Canadian Superstore, will be held this Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13. The Rangers will now have one pick in each of the first six rounds in this upcoming OHL Draft. For all the latest information on the Kitchener Rangers selections, stay tuned to KitchenerRangers.com.
The Blueshirts are currently in the first round of the 2024 OHL Playoffs against the Erie Otters. After posting a 4-3 overtime victory in game five of the best-of-seven series on Friday, the Rangers will look to close out the series on the road on Tuesday night.
