Rangers Community Assists: Week 6 Winner
Well-trained and well-equipped, St. John Ambulance Medical First Responder (MFR) volunteers attend countless public events across Ontario to provide basic and advanced first aid when emergencies occur. The volunteers are prepared to provide the first response casualty care necessary to save a life, prevent further injury or provide comfort until emergency medical assistance arrives.
There are four Volunteer Coordinators at the KW Branch that have been nominated for our Rangers Community Assists program:
Josh Reitzel – Medical First Responder Chief, whose volunteers have provided years of Service at the Aud during our home games.
Anne Ramsoomair – Therapy Dog Coordinator of the Therapy Dog programme. The Teams visit Retirement Homes, Universities, Schools etc. Anne has been the Coordinator for 6 years.

Andy Goulden – The Coordinator of the St. John Ambulance KW Branch Therapy Dog Team, who have just partnered with Waterloo Regional Police Service to provide 9 Therapy Dog Teams to Support and Reduce the Stress of Victims of Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking in our Region.
