Kitchener Rangers Spring Camp- Day 2 Recap
Kitchener Rangers 2019 Spring Camp continued Saturday with the final pair of games and a tour of the facilities at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
Team White came out on top in Saturday’s morning game in the 6-3 win.
The Rangers first-round pick, Francesco Pinelli had a goal and an assist in Saturday morning’s victory. Alex Farmer, Mitchell Martin, Kent Cummings, Darby Lemieux and Jacob Gilbert tallied goals for Team White. Simon Motew and Brenden Anderson each picked up a pair of assists in the win, while Peyton Adams-Matthews, Logan Gallagher and George Krotiris contributed with single assists.
Jesse Fishman countered with his third goal of the camp in the loss. Anthony Pinelli and Mitchell Lafay were Team Blue’s other goal scorers, while Gino Colangelo, Maxim Morris and Cameron Vassos all earned assists.
Diego D’Alessandro picked up the win in net.
The second match of the day and final game of Spring Camp saw Team White defeat Team Blue, 6-4.
Jacob Gilbert scored his third goal of the weekend and Francesco Pinelli, Kent Cummings and Alex Farmer both scored their second in the win. Dakota Betts contributed with a goal and an assist, while Logan Gallagher picked up an assist. Alex Farmer scored on the open net for his second of the game.
Jesse Fishman scored his fourth goal of the weekend in the loss. Matthew Sop and Isaac Langdon both scored, each tallying their second goal of the camp. Cameron Vassos scored, with Donovan Sebrango, Anthony Pinelli, Mitchell Lafay and Matthew McCullough picking up an assist in the contest.
Spring Camp closes out tomorrow with player fitness testing.
