Day One of Rangers 2016 Spring Camp
Day One of Kitchener Rangers 2016 Spring Camp is now complete following a busy day at Activa Sportsplex in Kitchener.
The day began with on and off-ice fitness testing for the 46 attendees then, after a group supper, reconvened with an on-ice skills session for Team Landeskog, followed by 2-0 Team Boedker win over Team Skinner in the opening inter-squad game of the weekend.
Dylan Seitz scored the game winner, assisted by Ian Vucko and Jack York with 46 seconds remaining in the first period, then Cole Donhauser sealed the victory with an unassisted empty net goal with 17 second remaining to play.
The game consisted of two 25 minute periods.
Saturday will begin with a skills session for Team Skinner at 9:30am, followed by Team Landeskog’s first game of the weekend as they face Team Boedker at 10:30am. Team Boedker will then have their skills session at 6:30pm, followed by a game between Team Landeskog and Team Skinner at 7:30pm.
All games will be played at the Activa Sportsplex and are open for fans to attend, free of charge.
