12 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE TONIGHT’S GAME

1) Today marks the second of four meetings this season between the Windsor Spitfires and Kitchener Rangers. Kitchener claimed the first meeting, 4-2, over the Spitfires in the Rangers’ second road game of the season back on September 28. Their next meeting is tomorrow night at 7:05pm in Windsor, and their final clash will be back here at The Aud for Teddy Bear Night on December 5, 2017.
2) After winning four straight games, the Spitfires were shutout by the Hamilton Bulldogs, 2-0, on November 5.
3) The Rangers are winners of their last three games, their most recent win coming last Friday here at The Aud with a 4-1 win over the Storm.
4) The Spitfires have a better record on the road (7-3-0-0) than they do at home (4-3-1-0).
5) Anthony Dumont-Bouchard remains out of the lineup for tonight’s game with an upper body injury.
6) Spitfires centre Aaron Luchuk sits second overall in league scoring with 18 goals and 33 points in 18 games.
7) The Kitchener Rangers home power play sits 10th in the OHL, executing at an 18.2% efficiency (6-for-33). Their home penalty kill is 10th overall at 79.5% (31-for-39).
8) The Windsor road power play ranks best in the league at 30% (9-for-30), while their road penalty kill is ranked 11th at 80.5% (33-for-41).
9) The Rangers and Spitfires sit relatively equal in goals for (Windsor: 55, Kitchener: 54) and goals against (48), however the Rangers have played one less game.
10) Tonight’s commemorative jerseys worn by the Rangers are to honour the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. This marks the 13th season the Rangers have donned a commemorative Remembrance Day jersey.
11) The Rangers’ annual Remembrance Day Jersey Auction takes place tonight in the Subscribers Lounge of The Aud. The silent auction begins at 6pm and runs until 10 minutes post-game.
12) The Rangers are 7-0-0-0 when leading after the first period, but 3-3-1-0 when tied after 20 minutes of play. The Spitfires are
a combined 11-0-1-0 when leading or tied after two periods. They are 0-6-0-0 when trailing after 40.
