Petes Sign Zack Lewis to Standard Player Agreement
Peterborough Petes General Manager Michael Oke announced at a press conference hosted by Signarama/Fully Promoted Peterborough, that the team has signed 2021 third round, 49th overall 2021 OHL Priority Selection pick Zack Lewis to a standard player agreement.
Lewis, a 6’2”, 168 lbs right winger, played for the Guelph Jr. Gryphons during the 2019-20 season. In 36 games he recorded 18 goals, 7 assists, 25 points, and 14 penalty minutes. The 2005-born Guelph, Ontario native is a prospect for the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
“Obviously it’s a huge honour for me,” exclaimed Lewis. “To be able to join a team with such great history and coaching, among such a welcoming group, it’s really exciting. Even the fans have been welcoming.”

“We’re excited that Zack has committed to the Petes,” said Oke. “He’s a highly competitive player who will contribute offensively. He’s a player with good size and good frame who will be a force in other areas of the ice.”
