Otters lose to 67’s, 4-1
The return of Ramis Sadikov to the net was not enough for the Erie Otters as the Ottawa 67’s prevailed to a 4-1 win at Tullio Arena Saturday night.
Playing in his first game since April, Sadikov made 26 saves in his season debut.
Tyler Toffoli opened the scoring five and a half minutes into the game with his eighth goal of the season to give the 67’s a 1-0 lead going into the second period.
Cody Ceci added to the Ottawa lead 64 seconds into the second period with a wrist shot from the left circle. The Otters picked up their only goal of the game nine minutes and five seconds into the second as Connor Brown fired in a rebound from a Stephen Harper shot on the power play, Brown’s fourth goal of the season.
Shane Prince and Steven Janes scored the last two goals for Ottawa as they won their third straight contest against the Otters, dating back to last season.
