The Erie Otters Hockey Club is currently searching for interested families in the Erie Area to partake in the Billet Family Program.
The Erie Otters Billet Family Program plays a major role in our team’s success both on and off the ice. Its takes special people to open their homes and hearts to our players and we take the utmost care to ensure that our players are placed in environments that are conducive to care, understanding and safety.
The role of a billet family or host family is to be more like a surrogate parent to our players. We ask that our players be treated like any other member of your family. We hold our players to a high standard and expect them to behave in a manner that represents the organization well while at a billet home. It is important that he respects the rules of his billet family and the billet family respects the rules of the hockey club. The values and principles for success that are essential to become a member of the Erie Otters will be demanded at the rink, in the home, in the community and in school.
