The London Knights fell 5-3 to the Erie Otters at Budweiser Gardens. Despite the return of key players Sam Dickinson and Sam O’Reilly, Erie took an early 2-0 lead with goals from Carrey Terrance (#10) on the powerplay and Alexis Daviault (#72). O’Reilly, back in the lineup, responded with his first goal of the season, cutting the deficit to 2-1.

London tied the game with a goal from Noah Aboflan (#74), but Daviault scored his second of the night on a powerplay, putting Erie back ahead. The Knights fought back again, tying the game 3-3 with a powerplay goal by Van Gorp. However, Erie’s Dylan Edwards (#11) scored the game-winner and added an empty-net goal, securing the win for the Otters.

The Knights now will head to Brampton on Saturday for an afternoon matchup with the Steelheads.
