KNIGHTS ACQUIRE CHRIS ABBEY

LONDON, ONTARIO : London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter today announced that the team has acquired 18 year old Goaltender Chris Abbey from the Sudbury Wolves in exchange for a 12th Round Draft Pick in the 2008 OHL Draft. Abbey is a native of London , Ontario and played his minor hockey with the London Jr. Knights Organization. He appeared in 10 games with the Wolves in 2005-2006. Abbey stands 6.04 and weighs 205 pounds. He will join the Knights in August when they open training camp on August 29th at the John Labatt Centre.
