KNIGHTS ACQUIRE BASSO FROM STING
LONDON, ONTARIO: London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter announced today that the team has acquired overage defenseman Alex Basso from the Sarnia Sting. In exchange, the Knights have sent a 2nd round pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection (originally Barrie’s) along with two 3rd round picks (originally Barrie’s and Kingston’s) in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection to the Sting.
Basso, a 6.01 184lbs Toronto, Ontario native, has played four season in the Ontario Hockey League splitting his time between Belleville and Sarnia. He recorded 44 points in 57 games with the Sting last season.
