BENDER COMMITS TO KNIGHTS

LONDON, ONTARIO: London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter announced today that defenseman Tim Bender has committed to and entered into an Ontario Hockey League Standard Player’s Agreement with the London Knights.  Bender, an 18 year old from Mannheim, Germany, was the Knights 2nd round selection in the CHL Import Draft this past June.  He has played 11 games with Munich ECH of the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) this season playing alongside London Knights alumni Danny Richmond and Danny Bois.  He arrived in Canada today.
