Knights sign import defenceman Funck

The London Knights announced today that the club has signed Swedish defenceman Linus Funck to an OHL Scholarship & Development Agreement.

Funck, 18, was drafted in the first round, 58th overall in the 2025 CHL Import Draft. The Luleå, Sweden native recorded 28 points (5 goals, 23 assists) in 48 games with Luleå HF J20 in J20 Nationell last season. The 6’3, blueliner ranked third in goals, first in assists, and first in scoring among Luleå defencemen. Funck was selected in the fourth round, 118th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2025 NHL Draft.

Funck will wear #27 with the Knights.
