TIERNEY NAMED CAPTAIN
LONDON, ONTARIO: The London Knights Hockey Club announced today that the team has named forward Chris Tierney as Captain of the 2013-2014 London Knights. Tierney, 19, is in his fourth season in the Ontario Hockey League and currently leads the Knights with 63 points in 45 games. He has been an integral part of the Knights back to back OHL Championships. A Knights’ first round draft pick in the 2009 OHL Priority Selection and a second round draft pick (55th Overall) of the San Jose Sharks in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, Tierney takes over from 2012-2013 Team Captain Scott Harrington.
