STOLARZ SUSPENDED 8 GAMES
LONDON, ONTARIO: The Ontario Hockey League announced today that London Knights goaltender Anthony Stolarz has been suspended for 8 games for a stick infraction. The incident took place during the 1st period of the Western Conference Quarter Final game against the Windsor Spitfires on Tuesday, March 25th at WFCU Centre in Windsor. Stolarz’s return is unknown at the moment and will be dependent on the London Knights playoff results.
Anthony Stolarz released the following statement after the Ontario Hockey League’s announcement today:
“I apologize for my actions on Tuesday night. It’s an unfortunate situation and in no way did I intend to injure my opponent, Joshua Ho-Sang.”
