LUKE EVANGELISTA SET TO MAKE NHL DEBUT WITH PREDS
Former Knights captain and 1st round selection Luke Evangelista is set to make his NHL debut at 21 years old.
Evangelista was the Knights 1st pick in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection and a second round pick of the Nashville Predators in the 2020 NHL Draft.
Evangelista makes the jump to the NHL less than a year after captaining the Knights during the 2021-22 season. Evangelista led the Knights in almost every aspect last season, leading the way to a third straight Midwest Division title and a historic 55 goal, 112 point season. Evangelista joined a list of Knights players to score 50+ goals in a season, the first since Christian Dvorak in 2015-16.
Evangelista made the jump to pro hockey this season and has handled everything thrown at him. He leads the Milwaukee Admirals in scoring with 41 points in 49 games played.
Evangelista will make his NHL Debut at home against the likes of Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and the Pittsburgh Penguins at 8:00 pm est.
