Mikulovich Named to Russian World Junior Camp Roster!
Niagara IceDogs defenceman Aleksandar Mikulovich has been named to Russia’s World Junior Camp ahead of the 2016 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships!
Mikulovich is one of three OHL players and ten CHL players invited to the Russian camp.
In all, three goaltenders, 10 defensemen and 16 forwards were named to the roster for camp, which begins Dec. 13 and includes exhibition games against Kontinental Hockey League member clubs Dynamo and Spartak before the team travels to Helsinki, Finland. Russia, to be coached by Valery Bragin, will also play an exhibition game against Denmark on Dec. 24.
Mikulovich becomes the fourth IceDog invited to a World Junior camp with Vince Dunn and Brendan Perlini headed to Canada’s camp, while Alex Nedeljkovic is headed to camp with the Americans.
