GAMEDAY PREVIEW | IceDogs continue Eastern Conference Quarter-Final tonight in Oshawa for Game 4
The IceDogs’ 11th consecutive appearance in the OHL Playoffs continues tonight in Oshawa! After two great games to open the series at home, and a disappointing Game three, Game four goes tonight where the ‘Dogs will be looking to get some revenge. Niagara continues to lead the series 2 games to 1.
Through the first three games of this series, Stephen Dhillon ranks 3rd amongst all goalies in the playoffs with a goals against average of 2.67, and 2nd in the league with a save percentage of .926. Comparatively, Kyle Keyser ranks 13th in the league, with 58 saves on 68 shots. He has a goals against average of 4.04, and a save percentage of .890.
Continuing his offensive prowess from the regular season, Sam Miletic leads the team with 5 points in the post-season. His 3 goals (2 of which coming on the powerplay in game two), ranks among the in the league. Commonly known for his strong physical play, Adrian Carbonara played in his best game as an IceDog in game two. His game-winning goal in Game two, to make it 2-1 in the 2nd period, ranks him 3rd in the league amongst all game-winning goals.
