Post Game Article: Exhibition VS. Rangers – October 2
Tonight, the Niagara IceDogs played their sixth and last exhibition game of the year against the Kitchener Rangers.
The Rangers started off strong with a quick two-on-one tap-in, making it 1-0 for Kitchener
By the end of the first 20 minutes, the game remained at 1-0.
At just 03:24 into the second, the Rangers scored again off of a one-timer
The IceDogs answer back late in the third as Brice Cooke buries a powerplay goal.
Shortly after, IceDogs’ Cameron Butler scores the equalizer on a breakaway to make it 2-2.
The Rangers answer it back quickly to make it 3-2 with just a minute left.
3-2 for the Rangers after 40 minutes.
Just over halfway through the 3rd, Wycisk scores the equalizer with a nice shot to make it 3-3.
The IceDogs score two quick goals, one from Waddick and one from Peters, their lead extends to 5-3.
Jake Uberti scores the empty netter for the IceDogs to conclude the game.
Final Score: 6-3 IceDogs.
The IceDogs’ next game is their first regular-season game of the year on Thursday, October 7th against the Barrie Colts
