Lavoie Selected As Nominee For Red Tilson Trophy

NIAGARA, ON – Forward Zakary Lavoie has been selected as the Niagara IceDogs nominee for the Red Tilson Trophy. The trophy is awarded to the league’s Most Outstanding Player of the Year and is voted upon by the league’s media members.

After being acquired by the IceDogs on December 12th, 2022, Lavoie appeared in 41 games and tallied 18 goals, 20 assists for 38 points.

Spilt between the Steelheads and IceDogs, Lavoie ended the season with 29 goals, 28 assists for 57 points in 69 games. The Orleans, Ontario native was drafted 7th overall by the Steelheads in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection Draft and was invited to the Ottawa Senators development camp in 2022.
