IceDogs Fall to League Leading 67’s
The IceDogs travelled to Ottawa for a rare Tuesday night tilt against the league leading 67’s. Tonight’s game was rescheduled from December 15th, and concluded the season series.
Niagara came out with a jump in the first period with the first shots of the game. They sustained pressure throughout the first minutes of the game. The 67’s opened the scoring near the midway point of the opening frame, finishing it with a 5-0 lead.
Midway through the second period, Ivan Lodnia wristed home his 27th of the season off a great pass from Adrien Beraldo deep in the 67’s zone.

Ottawa came back with a goal of their own, to lead 6-1. The IceDogs forged forward and continued to work for chances. With 4.4 seconds remaining in the period, Jackson Doherty beat everyone, including the goalie, but he didn’t get enough on the shot to get the puck over the goal line.
