10 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE TONIGHT’S GAME

1) The IceDogs are closing our 2018 with a tilt against the only team the IceDogs are trailing in the Eastern Conference race, the Ottawa 67’s.
2) Against Kingston, starting goaltender Stephen Dhillon set a new IceDogs record for most games played by a goaltender, with 167.
3) Niagara will be missing Daniel Bukac (Czech Republic) and Jason Robertson (United States) for tonight’s game, and Ottawa will be missing Michael DiPietro (Canada) and Sasha Chmelevski (United States) due to the World Junior Hockey Championship.
4) Following his hattrick against Kingston (within 8:22) , Kirill Maksimov has now scored the most goals, by an IceDog, this season, with 23.
5) Stephen Dhillon is expected to get the start tonight at home. Dhillon ranks 5th amongst all OHL goaltenders, with a goals against average of 2.72 and a save eprcentage of .916. He has 18 wins on the season, including two shutouts.
6) The IceDogs have the 2nd ranked home powerplay, with 28.0% efficiency, and the 16th ranked home penalty kill, with an 77.2% efficiency rating.
7) The 67’s away power play ranks 9th with a 21.6% efficiency, while their away penalty kill is ranked 12th with 76.6% efficiency.
8) Kirill Maksimov continues to rank second, behind Jason Robertson, with 11 powerplay goals this season. Akil Thomas ranks 4th in the league with a plus/minus record of 25, Phil Tomasino follows in 5th with a record of 24. Thomas also ranks 5th in the league with 32 assists on the season.
9) The 67s’ Tye Felhaber currently leads the league with 39 goals this season. Austen Keating ranks third with 37 assists.
10) The IceDogs will be looking to close out 2018 the way they started it … with a win!

Fans can bring their skates to the events level of the Meridian Centre, please enter through the Rankin Bridge and Box Office entrances to take the elevators down to rink level. Fans will be directed to the appropriate change room to place their skates for the duration of the game. The change room doors will be locked during the game, and security will be present.
