IceDogs Sign Goaltender Hayden Jeffery

NIAGARA, ON –  The Niagara IceDogs have officially signed goaltender, Hayden Jeffery to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

Jeffery, the 6’1, 168 lbs Grimsby native, was originally drafted 21st overall by the IceDogs, in the 2023 OHL U18 Priority Selection. Earlier this year, Jeffery was named to the Golden Horseshoe Conference all-rookie team.

“Niagara is pleased to officially welcome Hayden Jeffery into the IceDogs family. Having Hayden gives the organization Goaltending depth and we are very excited to see Hayden’s development as a player on and off the ice.” added General Manager, Wes Consorti.

The 18 year old most recently played for the St. Catharines Falcon’s in the GOJHL, with 7 GP, 2.66 GAA & a .910 SV% this season. During the 2023-2024 season, Jeffery had a .925 SV% in 36 games played.
