IceDogs End Season With Busy Four Game Week
NIAGARA, ON – The IceDogs are busy this week, with 4 games on the schedule as we come to the end of the 2023-2024 season. The IceDogs kick off the week with two road games on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday the IceDogs head to Barrie for a matchup with the Colts. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00pm. The last time the IceDogs played the Colts was on St. Patrick’s Day, where the IceDogs collected two points with an impressive 3-0 win on the back of a Charlie Robertson shutout and a two goal performance from Gavin Bryant.
The IceDogs then head to Brantford on Wednesday to play the Bulldogs with puck drop is scheduled for 7:00pm. The IceDogs look to steal one from the Bulldogs as Masen Wray and Callum Cheynowski play their former team.
The boys then come back to the Garden City on Thursday, as they play the Mississauga Steelheads. The last time out Mississauga took the 3-2 win despite a 40 save performance in net from Charlie Robertson. Puck drop is set for 7:00pm. Saturday marks the last game of the season as the Sudbury Wolves come to town. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00pm as we say our thanks to our amazing fans at our annual fan appreciation night. The game will feature giveaways and contests all night long. Also, make sure to get in your seats early as we congratulate St. Catharines’ very own, Connor Federkow, on an amazing OHL career. Federkow started his career with the London Knights where he spent two seasons with the team. The IceDogs would acquire him via a trade this past offseason, bringing the local product back to the Niagara region. This season with the IceDogs, Federkow has been a corner stone on the blue line and a leader in the dressing room. Get to your seats early as we honour Connor Federkow!
