Theoret signs with EHC Bayreuth Tigers

Barrie, ON– The EHC Bayreuth Tigers of the German Oberliga League announced that the team has signed Colts’ alumni, Mitchell Theoret.
Theoret, 6’2”, 210lbs, was originally drafted in the seventh-round (185th overall) by the New York Islanders in the 2011 NHL Draft. He spent five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Barrie Colts (2012-2014) and the Niagara IceDogs (2009-2012) appearing in 293 career games while collecting 65 goals, 95 assists for 160 points.
A native of Montreal, Quebec, Theoret spent the 2013-14 season with the Barrie Colts where he set career highs in assists with 34 and points with 51 in 52 games played.
