Capacity Update – January 27th
To Our Valued Season Ticket Holders;
With the current restrictions put in place by the Province of Ontario we want to ensure you are aware of how they affect you, our valued Season Ticket Holders.
We have four (4) games that will fall under the 500–person capacity limit in the arena bowl, which begins on January 31st. The games are on Feb 3rd, Feb 5th, Feb 12thand Feb 19th.
As we are forced to deal with these new restrictions, and in the interest of being as fair a possible, we have developed the following program.
With the number of season ticket holders we have, it works out that each of you is able to attend one of the 4 games where we are restricted to 500 fans. In order to be as fair as possible, and to make things as easy as we can for you all, we have created a program that allows each of you to attend a game based on the section that you sit in. The games are as follows:
February 3rd vs Kingston
- Sections 101,102,103,104,105,106,107,108
February 5th vs Oshawa
- Sections 109, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114
February 12th vs Sudbury
- Sections 115, 116, 117
February 19th vs Oshawa
- Sections 118, 119, 120, 121, 122, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, Wheelchair section
*Please note, if you sit in tiered seating (sections 106, 107, 108 or 109) your sections will remain closed during these games. Please find alternate seats in the bowl to enjoy the game as the tiered section will not be accessible.
**Please use only the East or West Entrances. The south entrance will not be open.
Please review the dates carefully to ensure you attend the correct game based on your section. We apologize if you are unable to attend the game selected for you, but we feel this is the fairest way to deal with a very unfair situation.
Unfortunately, if you attend a game not assigned to your section, we will not be able to allow you entrance, so please ensure you attend the correct game.
Please use your regular ticket as they will be scanned to enter.
We ask that once in the arena bowl, you please spread out as much as possible. This means you may not be sitting in your regular seats. Please be respectful and spread out as best you can throughout the arena. Take advantage of enjoying a different view from your regular seats!
As you are only able to attend 1 of these 4 games, your account will automatically be credited at the end of the season for the 3 games you cannot attend, in addition to the games we have played without any fans, which will also be credited to your account.
As season tickets holders, you and your guests are able to have dinner in the Horsepower Sports Bar & BBQ Grill before the game or enjoy a beverage at intermission in the restaurant. Please be advised that we are limited to 50% capacity in the restaurant, so access may be limited depending on how many people attend.
Should you wish to have dinner before the game, we ask that you please make a reservation with Food and Beverage Manager Sean Kehoe at 705-737-6944 or by emailing [email protected].
As we deal with these new restrictions, we ask for your patience and understanding. We have to ensure we maintain the 50% capacity rule in the restaurant, so if we are unable to accommodate you for dinner, or if you are unable to get into the restaurant at intermission, we ask that you please be courteous to our staff who are doing their best to accommodate everyone as best we can while following the protocols of the government.
Masks are still mandatory to be worn at all times while in the arena and proof of vaccination is required to enter the facility.
As of Feb 21st, we are projected to be at 50% capacity and food and beverage service will be back in the arena bowl. As of March 14th, we are projected to be back to full capacity.
Should the rules changes before any of these dates, we will keep you informed.
