Colts Surprise Christmas Cheer with a $5,000 Donation
On Saturday night the Barrie Colts not only were doing great things on the ice, but off the ice as well. During the first intermission Colts President Howie Campbell surprised the folks at Christmas Cheer with a $5,000 donation from the Colts Community Fund.
Helping out charities is such a big thing to us here with the Barrie Colts, and to donate to Christmas Cheer on Saturday night was an obvious choice for the Barrie Colts. “I learned earlier in the day that Christmas Cheer was $5,000 short of their goal, so we decided that the Barrie Colts Community Fund could help them reach their goal and help the families that need help at this time of year” said Howie Campbell.
Community is so important to us here and we love giving back to those in need.
