2015/16 Home Opener Announced

Toronto, ON – The Ontario Hockey League today announced 2015-16 regular season home openers for all 20 member teams.

The 680-game OHL regular season opens on Thursday September 24 with three games on the schedule, featuring the rekindling of a Michigan state rivalry between the Saginaw Spirit and the visiting Flint Firebirds who make their OHL debut. In other Western Conference action, the Windsor Spitfires host the reigning conference champion Erie Otters while, in Eastern Conference action, the Ottawa 67’s visit the Peterborough Petes.

The entire 2015-16 Ontario Hockey League regular season schedule will be released on Thursday June 18.
