Rookies star in 6-1 win

The Mooseheads got the 60 minute effort they were looking for Wednesday night at the Metro Centre as the Herd dropped the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 6-1.  Rookie Marty Frk led the charge firing his first career QMJHL hat trick and adding an assist.  In fact all 6 goals were scored by QMJHL rookies, with Francis Turbide, Darcy Ashley, and Trey Lewis collecting goals along with Frk’s hat trick.  Rookie netminder Anthony Terenzio was solid in nets all game, making several crowd-pleasing saves early in the 3rd period as Rouyn put on a push to get back in the game.  The win was Terenzio’s second, stopping 29 or 30 shots.
