The Islanders rewarded with Luc-Robitaille trophy
At the dawn of the 2017 playoffs, the Charlottetown Islanders had a dream season. Formerly known as the P.E.I Rocket, the team broke several franchise records, and Charlottetown quickly became one of the favorites to conquer the President Cup. Before the game against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, the Islanders were rewarded in a pre-game ceremony.
They received the Luc-Robitaille trophy which annually rewards the QMJHL’s team that had the best goals per game average during the regular season. The trophy was given to Islanders’ captain Guillaume Brisebois by Roland Liu of Roland Tours.
