QMJHL Prospects Game: 11 more players confirmed
The QMJHL is proud to confirm the presence of 11 more players for the QMJHL Prospects Game presented by BFL Canada, which will take place on October 28 in Gatineau.
Once again, these players were selected by the NHL Central Scouting, in conjunction with the QMJHL Hockey Committee, overseen by Vice President of Hockey Operations Éric Chouinard.
The six forwards, four defencemen and one goaltender selected are:
- Loïk Gariépy, LW, Victoriaville Tigres
- Louis-Étienne Halley, RW, Gatineau Olympiques
- Ilya Kolmakov, LW, Sherbrooke Phoenix
- Maxmilian Mares, C, Rimouski Océanic
- James Scantlebury, C, Québec Remparts
- Paul Sintschnig, LW, Halifax Mooseheads

- William Dubé, D, Chicoutimi Saguenéens
- Filip Kovalcik, D, Drummondville Voltigeurs

“These 11 players have bright futures ahead of them and are likely to be selected fairly early by an NHL team next June, said Éric Chouinard. There will be a lot of talent on the ice in Gatineau on October 28, in front of hundreds of NHL scouts and executives. We can’t wait to announce the 22 other selected players next week.”
The 11 players mentioned above join Patrick Déniger (Québec), Jamie Glance (Saint John), Alexis Joseph (Saint John), Malik L’Italien (Halifax), Carter Meyer (Québec) and Vladimir Shtyrkhunov (Shawinigan), who were confirmed a few weeks ago.
