Steinman and the Cats shutout Titan
Exactly one week after Keegan Warren blanked the Remparts 4-0 in Quebec City, it was Jacob Steinman’s turn on Friday at the Avenir Centre. Steinman stopped all 33 shots leading the Wildcats to a 4-0 victory over Acadie-Bathurst before 4,100 fans. Moncton has won 4 of its last five games.
Preston Lounsbury scored twice, his second into an empty net while shorthanded, and has 13 goals to his credit. Thomas Auger opened the scoring with his 9th and Caleb Desnoyers added his 8th of the season. Captain Yoan Loshing and Etienne Morin each provided two assists in the win.
