Notice of appointment of Guy Desjardins
GATINEAU – Gatineau Olympiques general manager Serge Beausoleil announced Friday the appointment of Guy Desjardins as skills coach.
Guy Desjardins returns to the Olympiques hockey staff. For over 20 years, the 53-year-old has specialized in teaching all skills and individual tactics to field hockey players of all levels. The Gatineau native was also head coach of the Gatineau Intrepide Midget AAA for two seasons. This is Guy Desjardins’ third stint with the Olympiques.
“As a native of the Outaouais region, it’s a real privilege and a source of great pride to be able to contribute to the development of players and the success of my region’s QMJHL team” – Guy Desjardins.
