The Olympiques sign Vincent Palmarin
GATINEAU – Gatineau Olympiques general manager Serge Beausoleil announced Thursday the signing of defenseman Vincent Palmarin.
Palmarin, 19, played two games in the Canadian Hockey League during the 2024-2025 season with the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Junior Hockey League.
However, he spent the majority of the season with the Notre-Dame Hounds in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, collecting 20 points (5 goals, 15 assists) in 21 games.
“We’re delighted to add Vincent to our roster. He’s a big, right-handed defenseman, which is becoming increasingly rare. He will certainly fill a need in our line-up.” – Serge Beausoleil, General Manager.
Originally from Wilcox, Saskatchewan, the 6-foot-2, 203-pound defenseman could be on the Abitibi trip next weekend.
