Retail Associate
Hours of work: Charlottetown Islanders Home Games – 2018-19 Season
The Team Store Retail Associate will play a key role in building revenue through the Islanders Team Store through merchandise sales
Responsibilities
- Work in the Islanders Team Store for all home games
- Interact with customers that come into the store
- Use POS software to document transactions
- Reconcile cash at the end of each game night
- Organize and present merchandise effectively
- Other duties as assigned by the President of Operations
Required Skills
- Experience in the retail industry considered an asset
- Experience in the sports or entertainment industry considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays as required. Must be available to work all Islanders home games
- High energy and passion for what you are selling
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), POS Systems & CRM Systems
