Islanders Reassign Two Players
On Tuesday afternoon, General Manager Jim Hulton announced a pair of roster moves.
D Simon Duguay and F Rowan Walsh have been reassigned to their respective junior and midget teams.
In addition, he announced that Marcus Kearsey will be departing the Island to Detroit for Red Wings Training Camp. Kearsey took part in the Red Wings Development Camp in June where he earned himself a main camp invite.
The Islanders close out the 2024 Training Camp preseason on Saturday night in Tyne Valley when they host the Saint John Sea Dogs at the Cavendish Farms Community Centre. Tickets are on sale at the Eastlink Centre Box Office, by phone at 902.629.6625 or online.
