Haskins added to Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game roster
Toronto – The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Tyler Haskins of the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors has been added to the roster for the 2004 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game to replace Kyle Chipchura of the Prince Albert Raiders who is unable to participate in the game due to injury.
Haskins, a 17-year-old native of Madison, Ohio, is third in team scoring with 11 goals and 29 points in 42 games. He was a fifth round pick of the Guelph Storm in the 2002 OHL Priority Selection and scored seven goals and 21 points in 54 games as a rookie last season.
The 2004 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, which will be played on Wednesday January 21 at the John Labatt Centre in London, will showcase 40 of the CHL’s top players that are eligible for selection in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. The players were selected by the National Hockey League’s 30 teams.
The team rosters will be announced on Monday January 19.
