Foligno Replaces Vincour at the 2009 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game
Toronto, ON – The Canadian Hockey League announced today that forward Marcus Foligno of the OHL’s Sudbury Wolves will join Team Orr at the 2009 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Oshawa, ON. Foligno replaces Tomas Vincour of the WHL’s Edmonton Oil Kings who is unable to participate due to injury. Foligno, a 17-year-old from Sudbury, ON, is in his second season with the Wolves. In 39 games this season he has recorded seven goals and 16 assists for 23 points.

The event begins with a Skills Competition at 7:00pm on Tuesday January 13 with the Prospects Game taking place Wednesday January 14 at 7:00pm at the General Motors Centre in Oshawa, ON. The game can be seen live on Rogers Sportsnet and RDS.

The 2009 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game features 40 of the CHL’s top draft eligible players for the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Last year 20 CHL players from this event were selected in the first round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
