Eston Ramblers enjoy Old Dutch Rising Prospects Prize
The winner of the 3rd annual Old Dutch CHL Rising Prospects contest was the Eston Rambler Atoms from Eston, SK.
They spent two memorable days, January 14 & 15, 2012, with the Western Hockey League’s Swift Current Broncos.
Their prize included VIP seats at a home game (which the Broncos won in a shut out against the Red Deer Rebels on January 14), and an afternoon on the ice in a drills and skills session that saw every player from the Broncos in attendance and in full uniform.
These lucky 9 & 10 year old boys and girls went home with personalized Old Dutch jerseys, medals, and boxes of goodies.
The Broncos organization presented each kid with team hats, game noise-makers (which the parents really loved) and tote bags. The WHL was in attendance and gave each Eston team member a WHL touque. Even with all the great swag, it was the memories that will last a lifetime with these lucky boys and girls.
