Employment – Manager of Corporate Partnerships
Scarborough, ON – The Canadian Hockey League is the largest development hockey league in the world with 60 teams in nine Canadian provinces and four American states. The CHL is made up of the Ontario Hockey League, Western Hockey League and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and during the 2012/13 season, welcomed almost 10 million fans into its buildings.
The Canadian Hockey League is requesting applications for the position of Manager of Corporate Partnerships.
Main Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)
– Manage the execution of all national corporate partnerships
– Create new programs to be offered to new and existing partners
– Work with our sales agency to attract and retain corporate partners
– Assist in the planning and execution of our national events as it relates to our corporate partnerships
– Oversee our national broadcasts and ensure that our brand is being represented properly and that all host clubs have the necessary information they require to properly host a broadcast
– Manage the Equipment Supplier Program
– Maintain day to day relationships with all participating suppliers
– Ensure obligations owed to suppliers are fulfilled
– Ensure clubs are satisfied with the quality of product/service provided to them by each supplier
Essential Skills
– Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office are essential
– Creative, leadership, financial management and organizational skills
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
– Excellent writing and communication skills
– Being Bilingual in English and French is considered an asset
