CHL Playoff Notebook: May 7, 2019
The Canadian Hockey League playoffs resumed Tuesday with a pair of games on the schedule:
Quebec Major Junior Hockey League
The Halifax Mooseheads evened the President’s Cup Final at two games apiece thanks to a 5-1 victory over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on Tuesday as New York Islanders prospect and left-wing Arnaud Durandeau led the way with one goal and two assists en route to first-star recognition. The Huskies will now look to rebound with a win on home ice Thursday.

Western Hockey League
The Prince Albert Raiders crushed the Vancouver Giants in Game 3 of the Ed Chynoweth Cup Final, coming away with an 8-2 win that saw draft-eligible right-wing Brett Leason notch three points in the triumph. The Giants can be pushed to the brink of elimination with a loss on home ice in Game 4 on Wednesday.

Ontario Hockey League
After suffering their first loss of the postseason, the Ottawa 67’s will look to return to the win column and grab a 3-1 series edge over the Guelph Storm with a road victory Wednesday. The Storm took Game 3 by a 7-2 score as Montreal Canadiens prospect Nick Suzuki led the way with a three-point night.
