A four-point effort by defenceman Bowen Byram, Central Scouting’s second-ranked North American skater ahead of the 2019 NHL Draft, powered the Vancouver Giants to a 5-4 victory over the Prince Albert Raiders in Game 1. The series continues Saturday in Prince Albert.

Quebec Major Junior Hockey League
Halifax Mooseheads centre Benoit-Olivier Groulx played the hero in double overtime versus the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, notching his third point of the night to lift his club to a 5-4 victory that evened the series through two games. The Mooseheads will now look to grab the series lead Monday on home ice.
