10 CHL Players Invited to USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp
Toronto, ON – The Canadian Hockey League today announced that 10 CHL players were among the 46 players invited to take part in USA Hockey’s National Junior Evaluation Camp this August in Lake Placid, New York.
The players will be auditioning for a spot on the U.S. National Junior Team that will take part in the 2013 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship, Dec. 26, 2012-Jan. 5, 2013, in Ufa, Russia.
Among the invitees are three returnees from the 2012 U.S. National Junior Team including forward J.T. Miller of the Plymouth Whalers and goaltender John Gibson of the Kitchener Rangers.

In addition to the 10 current CHL players invited to camp, four players that have already committed to CHL clubs for the 2012-13 season have also been invited including defencemen Patrick Sieloff (Windsor Spitfires), and Seth Jones (Portland Winterhawks), and forwards Ryan Hartman (Plymouth Whalers) and Stefan Matteau (Blainville-Boisbriand Armada).

The camp, which will take place at Lake Placid’s Olympic Center from Aug. 4-11, includes practices, intrasquad scrimmages and international games against Sweden and Finland.
