Episode #19 of the 50th Season WHL Radio Show with Jon Keen presented by Easton is now available.
This week, we take a look back on a successful ScotiaBank Hockey Day in Canada in Kamloops, BC. 50 seasons of WHL hockey were honoured as part of the festivities. A special WHL Alumni Pro-Am game was held with Darcy Tucker and Mark Recchi serving as team captains amongst 29 WHL Alumni that participated. Hear from team captains Darcy Tucker, Mark Recchi and WHL legend Lanny McDonald who all took part in the game.
The WHL has begun unveiling the Top 50 WHL Players of all-time. Commissioner Ron Robison joins us to release #50 through #46.
Finally, The WHL Player of the Month for January is Moose Jaw Warriors forward Dryden Hunt. He’ll be our guest.
